Who on here can change out the leaky caps on a conventional analog spectra and tune it up on a service monitor and what is the average price range.
I'm just a Ham and don't have a ton of $$$.
i may be getting one in a trade and want to take care of the leaky cap issue before it becomes a problem.

Will on the board here did the same thing to my Spectra. His work is excellent & quick. The fellow mentioned in the above response also does great work on Spectras from what I've read, but Will worked on my radio. 73's. GARY N4KVE

Batman & Sourapple613 -- Check your PM's. The choice between myself and Will usually comes down to geography or who's backlogged at the time.
Happy communicating.
