Spongy Commander II knob?

Does anybody else own a Commander-II speaker mike where the channel knob has almost another
channel's worth of play in it? It has a very 'spongy' feel. The thing is nearly new (but bought used)
so no warranty to run to, unfortunately...

Yes, mine the same. But no issue for me.
I am biggest fan of XTS2500 and ASTRO Digital Saber.
