CP 200 Programing

Hi I am fairly new at this I was asked to program 4 CP 200 4 channel portables (model number AAH50KDC9AA1AN ) I am using Motorola Commercial Series CPS 05.05. I am using a Ribless cable and USB adaptor. When i try to read these radios i get this
i understand there is a way to crack the region error using WINHEX i opened cps.exe in WINHEX and was lost.................
Any help would be great

Not sure if it's related to the error but the latest software version is 05.07

what region or rev # is on the cps disc? and try using a different machine with a real serial port and not using the usb adaptor

not shure what REV# how would i find that out? and same results for other machines. USB adaptor works great for other cords like CDM

the revision number is printed on the face of the cd.

When you run the CPS, in the top tool bar, there is a question mark (?) that says "about".. click on that..

unfortunately in this case the help section don't tell you the region, that's why i asked for the revision number or part number on the cd. so if it's a blank cd then you didn't get it from motoroal, call them and order the correct cps and you will be in business. and i'd still get rid of the usb adaptor before you brick a radio with it.
