I have a P110 that has 6 channels. Do the 6 channel radios scan? I tried to change it in the software but it wont let me. I have programmed a bunch of P110 8 channel and 16 channels with scan no problem. Any thoughts?

Anyone? I need to get this radio programmed and out into the field.

i can't remember exactly on that model but if it did you would have to use one of the channels as the scan. your best bet would be to change that radio into a 16ch gp300 that can definately scan

Ya i wish i knew how to turn them into Gp300's but i can't get the toolkit to work. Any suggestions?

The 6 ch. does not support scanning or MDC-1200. The 8 and 16 do. Over their run they came 2,4,6,8,16
