Hello all...

Anyone want to recommend a BT headset that they are using on XTS? I need one now for cellular but will be attaching to XTS2500 with the adaptor in the next couple of months. I've tried the /\/\ HS300 on the XTS2500 during a demo but the earpiece volume isn't high enough for use in outside environment. I'm also concerned about background noise being higher than a normal PS speaker mic.

TIA

Dave

Outside noise is almost always going to be a problem with BT Headsets because the earpiece generally sits on the outside of the ear canal. This allows all outside noise to mix with the earpiece audio before it makes it into the ear canal. So to block out the outside noise you would need an earpiece that sits in the ear canal and provides a seal against outside noise. This is how good quality audiophile headphones work. Shure, Ultimate Ears, etc. The only BT headset that I know of that provides that kind of ear canal seal is the Plantronics Voyager 815. I have not tried this with the Moto BT adapter, but it should work.

try this http://us.jawbone.com/product_landing.aspx Jawbone 2. I know it is pricey but i have used it before for cell and it works amazing even on noisy environments.
