Want to check a HT1250 Model Number

I have checked all the model breakdowns I can find, and I cannot verify what the DP in pos 11+12 means. I have found AA, CK, and DU, but nothing on this DP.

Any insight?

Am I correct in understanding that the DP and DU models can be used as conventional radios as well? I've checked into a few places, and the feature lists all seem to say something different. If someone could give me a channcel/zone/bank brakedown on the models, or direct me to one, I would appreciate it.

yes the LS and LS+ portables will do 18 or 34 conventional channels depending on model number

Correct, it's called the HT1550 or HT1550XLS.

No try again, with the PMUD1770A Tanapa, you have 160 conv, with LTR.
Or PMUD2213B will give you 128 conv and LTR. With or without the Passport board.

A 160 channel HT1250 with LTR? A 128 channel HT1250 with LTR? Really? Where? There is no documentation to support this and I've never heard of such a beast.. not to say they don't exist.. but if they do I wouldn't mind picking up a couple so I have one less radio to carry when I'm out in the field The 1550 is a great radio but the audio quality is terrible.
