Batboard

I have a request from a friend to install a DTMF front onto his VHF AN model HT1000. I have tried it and it doesnt seem to recognise the front, all the other functions work fine speaker mic and acc connector. I checked my RSS manual for the option and it only shows a "B" model and later. Were AN's able to have a DTMF or is the front im using too new? Or is he S.O.L.?

I found the answer at the main site. F4-F3-F2 cntr shift F7.. Nevermind...
