[Need help identifying this Moto hand tool]

We were cleaning out our older bins upstairs and stumbled upon this tool and need help identifying its purpose in life it has a part number of 8105727Z01 printed on it as well as text saying "this side up." MOL description says: "TOOL HOOD REMOVAL" item has been cancelled so obviously it is for an older series radio.
