Hello everyone!!!
My XTS3000 has firmware version R07.08.00 and DSPN 08.02.02. My question is this... Is there a good place to find out what the current version of this information is, and what the version that I have does? I have seen several topics here that talk about what firmware version will support re-banding but it seems that there are some discrepancies so does anyone have a final answer as to what firmware will work for re-banding?

Thanks Again and have a GREAT day.

I got a firmware bump on a couple of my xts3000's a couple of months back. They now have R07.71.06 and DSP N08.03.05. Yours does not look to be that old, but I'll let other, more knowledgeable folks comment about the latest features.

What do you mean by "firmware bump"? Did you send it to the depot to have this done and if so how much did it cost?

A "firmware bump" refers to upgrading the firmware, which can be accomplished using an upgrade flashkey, SmartRIB, and programming cable in the field. Moto will also update your firmware if you send the radio to the depot for a flat-rate repair. Contact your MSS.

R07.08.00/N08.02.02 is fairly recent... the newest I've seen is R07.71.06/N08.03.05. The 07.7x versions support rebanding - this is only important if it's an 800MHz radio.

Unless you have an 800 radio and require rebanding support, or you have some specific issue you need to address with a firmware update, I wouldn't worry about it.
