Hello all. I am a new user to this site, i think this is a great place for me to get some needed answers for a few programming issues i am having with my Motorola GP 2000 portable VHF radio. First, I can program all my basic channels that are wide band for example 155.220 with a PL of 88.5 with no problem. The issue i am having is that when I try to program a narrow band channel it will let me enter the 4th digit but changes the other digits. I have changed the channel spacing to 12.5 in the channel section, is there another place I have to change that? I believe this radio will do the narrow step spacing correct? that is what the 12.5 and 25.0 steps are correct? if anyone can give me some guidance it would greatly be appreciated, because I don't know a whole lot about programming, actually this is the first time I have attempted it. If you can help that would be great. Thanks.

I think there may be a difference between "step size" options and "wide"/"narrow" bandwidth settings.
