Hi,

I got a "new" HT1000 BN in and was trying to clone another radio configuration, it reads and seemingly writes the codeplug and chirps when it seems to reset but RSS seems to hang, with about 75% on the progress bar, then eventually I get the red error screen saying the "RIB PORT COMMUNICATION UNSUCCESSFUL". The radio doesn't seem to be bricked, this is the first time I've seen this and I've been cloning configurations sucessfully with three other radios. Any help appreciated. This unit was bought on EBAY...

The RSS is 03.03 and the radio software is 02.02

I hadthe same prob is the sn the same form one to the other?

LOL sorry about that i meant to say Model # (no more posts past 11 when i start shift at 5am)

I did have the same prob with 2 ht1000s with the same model number i just changed the 9 volt in the RIb and tryed it like two more times and it went.

I see.. I'm using a rib-less cable on a laptop. This is worrisome but for now I'll just reprogram it separately.
