I apologize in advance since this is an iDEN question and many people might think it belongs in cell phone forums, but this isn't a "ringtone" question. I tried a search here, but I didn't find any posts on this. I like to go horseback riding and I bring my Nextel with me. Sometimes it might be nice to be able to use Direct Connect without holding the phone itself because sometimes the horse will spook while on the trail. I was looking at the Motorola Nextel Remote Speaker Microphone NSN6066 and I was thinking that this might be a viable option. Anyway I have some questions and I was wondering if anybody here has used one of these. I am specifically interested in two things:
-Is this only for Direct Connect/Direct Talk or could I also answer a telephone call with this?
-Will the speaker still work with MP3 player? (I realize that it would be monaural, not stereo.)
I was actually thinking that this might be a better way to listen to audio on the horse anyway. Although I may want to listen to audio files, the ability to still hear ambient noises nearby can be pretty helpful, too.
