Astro Saber III programming

Hello.
I have an Astro Saber III programmed with software R04.01.00 and DSP I 06.02.00 ( (1Meg ROM) Will I be able to read and program codeplug with CPS 05.02.00?

Host/DSP has nothing to do with what CPS will read an astro saber....It depends on what version of software was last used on it. 5.02.00 should probably work.

Don't know what version was used to program the radio. Is it so that if the software is able to read the codeplug, it will also be able to program a new codeplug?

If it reads the radio and unpacks the codeplug then it will write to it as well.

Ok. I'll just have to try and see. I just have one Astro Saber III. I have a lot of Icom radioes, but the Astro Saber is a much better radio.
