Any answer this.... Is it possible to generate the "A" tone on an XTS5000 like found on amateur radios? If so how?

Not without getting to the keypad and butchering it up. You need the 4th row to make this happen
normally. All the radios that I have seen in the XTS family, don't have the 4th row.
