Good evening to all,

I am trying to upgrade the firmware of an XTS5000 W7.

I have the firmware file, CPS, and cable (obviously) I have Firmware Vs 10 & 11.

The radio has firmware 3.00.00.

When I try and go "upgrade radio" then select the file, it always comes back and says that I dont have a flash key in.

Obviously I am not trying to flash it, only upgrade the firmware.

Am I missing something?

You still need a flashkey plugged in. In your case, you would need a re-fresh I-button flashkey plugged in...
