MTR2000 / MRTI port

Anyone using the MRTI port on an MTR2000 repeater? I tried connecting to it and it seems to work with one exception. If the repeater is keyed and gets a MRTI PTT on the MRTI port, it causes the repeater to reset. Obviously it shouldn't do that or it wouldn't work with a MRTI. I tried it on 2 different MTR2000s and both do the same thing. It does it even if there is nothing connected to the MRTI port other than a PTT wire. MRTI is enabled in the RSS. Any suggestions? Anyone have a programming code plug file they can send me for an MTR2000 with a MRTI on it?

confirm the polarity on the MRTI PTT line. Are you infact pulling them low? If you apply a standard active-high COR you might short the unit, cause a fault, and force a reset.
I've used the MRTI connector for interconnect, and have actually had more luck using the standard backplane for it.

Polarity OK. I'm grounding the PTT line and the station keys OK. But if I ground it while the MTR is repeating, it resets.

theres 2 pins there w/ the same job, which one are you using? I don't have my manual infront of me...but IIRC its pin 2 & pin 11. Is it reproducible on both pins?
