MSR2000 UHF PA Model TLE2280A

Post by va2ir »

Gents,

I have a very clean MSR2000 UHF PA, model TLE2280A (according to the manual I have). It is a Canadian version, and only is rated at 30 or 40 watts. It is not the 85/100 Watt deck.

Question: I would like to use this amp as a straight-thru unit, not part of an MSR setup.

How do I activate the amp module? I have applied 1 watt to the input, 13.5 VDC at B+, then there is the control board, which I will guess is inhibiting the amp from turning on. How can I either activate that power control board or bypass it completely?

Thanks

Ian R.
