In its stock configuration for use with a MTR2000, does the Argus supply put out 12V or 24V? I have searched the board and can't find a definite answer.

Yep, the appropriate model needs to be ordered. There are jumpers to change the unit from 110-220 Vac, but the 12 or 24 Vdc is not configureable.

So the MTR itself can run off of 12V or 24V backup? Interesting.. I've never had the chance to work on one.

Reason I asked is, I had an Argus unit made available to me for a reasonable price and was considering picking it up to use as a general 12V backup supply. I have the manual courtesy of Repeater Builder and I know what they're capable of, but wanted to make sure I wasn't getting a 24V unit before I jumped.

The 'standard' power units...30 & 40 watts, require a 12V backup. The high powered 75 & 100 watt units require the 24V backup. Do NOT plug a 24V backup into a lower powered 12V repeater...we had a tech do that once, you will not like the results!
