APX 7000 Availability
Is there any update on the availability for purchase? At APCO 2008 I had heard they would be available in 2nd quarter 2009.

I'd probably bet on end of Q3, and expect it to hit Q4....
They probably are getting a lot of flack from people who bought fancy phase 2 systems and yet have no portables...

In February of 2009 we were told that initial APX shipments were estimated to commence in late Spring/early Summer of 2009. Now we are hearing Sept 2009.
Keep in mind that the APX will be rolled out in a carefully controlled way, so various features/options/capabilities, and combinations thereof, may have their own time schedules.
