Reading a GP350

I've read from and written to this radio many time. This morning I was trying to read the radio and when I hit [F2], the RSS accessed the RIB and the radio just 'beeped' about once a second. When I tried a com test, the radio beeped once a second and the RSS said the radio didn't ack.

Any ideas? The radio still works fine with the programmed channels. The only difference between then and now is now I have a speaker mic attached.

Have you checked the voltage of the battery powering the radio on the progamming dongle? Its possible it could be low.

I checked the voltage at the radio and it's a constant 7.5 volts. The radio will transmit correctly, but I still can't read it. The bad part is, I can't find where I put the current codeplug for this radio and the codeplug supersite doesn't have a file for the UHF GP350.

Funny what a intermittent ground will do. The ground wire from the radio to the RIB was not seated all the way. That took care of everything.
