Salary Specifications
NATURE OF WORK:
Performs highly skilled technical work and is responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and removal of communications equipment. Employees in this class exercise technical independence in determining work methods and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree and four years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio or microwave systems; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Florida driver license required. May be required to adjust to flexible work hours to accommodate operational issues. FCC First Class Radio License (NABER, APCO certification, or General Class Commercial License acceptable) desired. Police background check including polygraph examination required.
FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT.
