Anyone know of someone that has the capability of programming a 82S129 prom for a MCX100? Wheather using a R1800A, or Prom programmer...I don't have a programmer unfortunetly. I have access to a Suitcase programmer, but they don't have the firmware for the MCX100.

Andy Brinkley of Brinkley Electronics has the programming capabilities.

There is no software for the MCX100. What Will is saying is that board member Andy Brinkley can program them, as he does have the suitcase programmer.

I can program those as well (and there are ways to do so without the suitcase programmer - third-party software, specifically, along with a separate device programmer), but you should be aware that the 82S129 is a one-time programmable device. They cannot be erased and reprogrammed.
Also, with most MCX's, programming is only half the battle. You also need to realign the front end. Not quite as involved as doing the Syntor X9000's, but it does require a good signal generator or service monitor.
Please feel free to drop me a PM if interested.
Happy tweaking.
