I see lots of UHF VRSs, but is there such a thing as a VHF vehicle repeater?

I want to use a UHF spectra for some ham stuff, but it would be nice if I could use my VHF XTS portable with the setup.

Pyramid's SVR-200 might be what you are looking for.

Agreed... if you can find a VHF SVR-200, they are great repeaters, but just be aware you will need to take it to a shop to have it mated to the spectra and properly aligned.

Kyle - I presume you're referring to the VRS750 (looks like an MCS2000), since you mention UHF and there's been a glut of UHF VRS750s on eBay. Yes, Moto does make a VHF version - they are simply not as common.

The SVR-200s are an aftermarket VRS - they'll work, but not with the integration you see with an Astro Spectra or XTL and the VRS750 or DVRS.

Kyle,

Yes there is a Motorola VHF VRS for the standard UHF Spectra.. I use one and it works well, just not as many features available to program as the newer VRS-EP models made for the Astro Spectra.
