Batboard

I have a pager, two batteries and a charger base that are all fried because someone hooked up an 18VAC power supply to the 8VDC input on a Minitor V charger base. The Minitor V does not turn on at all anymore.

My question is does a Minitor V have a fuse or a protection device that may have burnt out?

If so where would I locate this device?
