Can someone tell me if just any standard figure "8"two prung ac cord will work with the standard Impres Charger?

I am expecting a Motorola Impres Charger in the mail but it comes with the euro cable which is different.

Motorola Impres Adaptive Charger Ver 3.4 WPLN4114AR is the charger I am expecting so its just the cable I know won't be compatible.

Thanks,

Ko

Yes...

Input voltage is 100-240 VAC so you could just change the plug end for different voltage/recepticle combinations if you cant get the correct cable...

yea, its an old school boombox power cord, also interchangeable with your ancient RSS 286 laptop, before they had the external transformers

That stye is a IEC C-7.

Probably more info than is needed but...

From Wikipedia

"The unpolarised C7 is commonly known as a "Figure 8" or "shotgun" connector due to its shape. The polarised C7 is asymmetrical, with one end rounded similarly to the unpolarised version, and the other squared off."

For some good geek reading try this link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEC_connector
