Address location of RSSI on spectra

Post by kj6ko »

..OK....I know I bitbanged this before, but I can't find RSSI on any "MOFLAG list" of features??!! I have a radio with a late FW ver, but RSSI is not enabled. Can't find it on Batlabs list of MOFLAGS. I could swear I did this to other radios, now I can't even find the info on the address location. It doesn't even show up on the flashcode decoder as an option???

Any help??

...am I just being stupid and forgot something obvious??? (usually the case)

Thanks..

I believe you need at least Version 6.xx firmware to even consider having RSSI work, regardless of any MoFlags.

This is a ver 6.06 and i have working RSSI on ver 5.21,5.23 and believe it or not, a ver 3.xx! Not a big necessity, but nice to have. It must be disabled in the MOFLAGS, but i don't know where it is??

It will only work if its X.16 or higher.... so 5.21 will work, but 6.06 will not.

6 gives you zones, but not RSSI
