XTS 2500 QCII not working

I have a UHF & a VHF XTS2500 with a firmware verison R12.xx.x ,that receive the alert beep but will not open for the following audio msg.in QCII operation.The VHF is a model 1 & the UHF is a model 1.5 .Any help greatly appreciated N8OOG

What do you have your squelch settings for under the QC system?
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
