Hello!

Rig is a flashed GM1200 to MC2100. In order to use it for digital modes, I need the data channel capability along with the CSQ signal to trigger PTT on the accessory connector. Can anybody please advise, how to enable the following signals on the accessory connector:

#8: CSQ
#24 MOD (modulation input) and
#25 DISC (discriminator output)

Which RSS or CPS will I need, where can I find the option to enable these signals?

Thank you very much in advance!

Some years ago, I had built a repeater with a couple of MC2100's, and discovered that this radio was not designed to be a part of a repeater,
since no matter what rss I tried, I didn't find an acc connector configuration menu, not even the programmable pin used on GM900.
If I recall well, the csq signal should be hard-wired by yourself; find a useless pin on the acc conn, cut the trace and route a wire from the inside.
Tx mod and Rx audio pins are existing but I can't recall if they are pre/de-emphasized or flat.

Paul,

thank you for your information. Since the GM1200 (which is the same hardware) does have the “Data Channel Enabled” option programmable along with squelch signal available on Pin 8, I hope it is possible...

Maybe someone else has a suggestion?!

Thank you very much in advance!
