Is there any way to get these things off without destroying them? Unlike the soft rubber non-SV knobs, these things are hard plastic and seem impossible to pop out. Neither the MII SV or DII SV service manual make any mention of knob removal, whereas the non-SV service manuals do, so I'm guessing that's a hint right there. I tried squeezing the bottom together with needlenose, but that just chewed the plastic up. I guess the solution is to buy new knobs, then remove the old ones by snapping the plastic tabs off the underside?
