Hello,
I have an Gm660 (that's the label on it) but I think I program it with a GM360 codeplug: M25KHF9AN5
I try to setup some firefighter channel, some HAM radio channel and a Mountain emergency.
My problem is that on the HAm channel I was able to setup to tone squelch to open a relay (1750Hz) but I can't send any voice for more than 4 sec !??

I have a TOT of 255sec, and I can't find why is that.

I'm using the Motorola Professional release 3.05.00

Thanks for any help trick or whatever can help me to solve my problem.

arno

I' can't even give you my data file to check it.

When you setup Single Tone to access the repeater, the TX audio is muted during the four seconds by the Single Tone transmission.

Set the Single Tone duration to about 1/2 second.
Set the Time Out Timer for one minute.

X2

At least on the Spectra, you need to keep the PTT button pressed down when it is sending its Single Tone. If you are not holding the PTT down when the Single Tone is done, it will just stop transmitting and you would have to do it again. Just keep the PTT button down.

I don't know if you have it set up like this, but add a notification beep to the single tone. The radio will sound a continuous tone until the Single Tone is done being sent and you will know when you can talk.

Happy (safe) programming!
