X9000 HHCH Programming

Hi Folks,
Got a couple of VHF X9000s with the HHCH.
How do I program them? I have the 'normal' X9000 RSS,
but with the programming cable in place, the computer
tells me that there is a serial bus fault.
The radios do work.
Thanks,
Tim

Suggest you start with this thread:
http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.p ... 00#p386775
Then,
using our Search function, move on to the many other Syntor/X9000 threads that are to be found on this Board.
Also, when posting for help in regard to programming, RSS, etc. it's a good idea to state a lot of detail about your setup. Your post reads, in effect, "It won't work; help!" which really doesn't tell anyone anything.

Hi Tom,
Thanks.
I thought I had given enough information, but I guess not.
I have many X9000s that I have been programming, so the speed of the
computer is not a factor.
I have also done a search for HHCH & found nothing relevant, and while
the X9000 pages give a wealth of information about the actual radios,
accessories, configurations, etc, nothing is specified about how to
program the radio.
It is possible that because this radio does have the securenet boards in
place, it does not program in the normal non-securenet way. I don't
have any experience in that.
Anyhow, that's the scoop!
Thanks,
Tim
Obviously, since there is not a 'real' control head, CHPROG isn't used.
However, neither RDPROG or HAMRD seem to be able to talk to the
radio, using the same cable that I use for the 'normal' X9000s.
The cable that I am using plugs onto the end of a siren cable. The
radio works fine with the cable plugged in (no actual siren connected!).
