MOT VRS750 Model P2081A

Post by general22 »

OK I'm new to this and need some help. I have a Motorola VRS 750 MOEDL P2081A and it says Option W492AG. I have some spectra radios VHF -UHF. Could someone give me a list of what i need to make it work? I want vhf for main radio and want to use the VRS 750 TO CROSS BAND UHF. For mY HT1000 . I have the rss for radios only and programming cables. Thanks Douggie :)

First you will need a VHF Astro-Spectra and the appropriate cable. The VRS750 is not for a Spectra, you need a plain VRS for that.

Once you have it connected to the Astro-Spectra you can program it from the codeplug read from the Astro-Spectra with the Astro Mobile CPS.

There is a cable that will run from the VRS to the Astro Spectra and plugs into the other 25 pin plug. Read the radio, turn on the VRS in the settings, set it up like you want it - channel steering based on PL from the handheld is real cool, then program up the radio. Hook it all up and turn it on.

See http://www.motorola.com/governmentanden ... csheet.pdf

for a list of the options you can program.

Your CPS help file can provide some help too.
