I need to know how or where to find the "HOT KEYPAD" activation on my JT1000
so as to send DTMF tones out on transmit. I have the 3.02 newer version firmware
with current RSS. It programs just fine from the keypad. It just beeps when keyed up
trying to send tones.
Thanks for any replies.

That would be in the RSS to be able to have the DTMF enabled on a per channel basis.

I found that using or pushing the orange mandown button is the
DTMF activation switch for JT1000. It turns it on and off. I removed the factory
default 8888, and 9999 to it in the rss software and it works perfect.
Thanks anyway.

The JT's all come with the DTMF programmed to what is normally the emergency button(orange top button). Take it off scan and off keypad lock and push the orange button and the DTMF is active. It will have DTMF on the display.
