MT2000 questions

I have a recently aquired MT2000 VHF 48-CH radio. I am having trouble figuring out how to program the display; I cannot even find it in the RSS. Also, how are you able to get the 48 channels???? Is it through the A-B-C switch?? I am familiar with the older RSS, but this is really different. I just traded up from my HT1000 to this MT2000.
It is gonna need a new Volume switch and probably a new channel switch as they are both pretty loose. Are these Surface mount or prong solder switches??
Any other tips for programming is appreciated......The radio reads and writes just fine; just need help navigating it.

The switches should be through hole but they go into a flex, normally we just change the whole flex for reliability.

For 48 channels you would set the A-B-C switch to Zone,Zone,Zone.
The looseness of the Volume and ABC switches is generally a wearing down of the black housing that the control flex is built into. I've done countless number of volume switch changes and always come to the same conclusion, replace the whole flex.
The original flexes (what few remain) where really sturdy and would probably work for a very long time if the shield or the switches themselves didn't wear out.

The alpha tags should be programmed under the zone channel assignment screen.
