HT1250 battery display

I have a ht 1250 with the latest firmware and when i use a after market battery from batteryzone it displays the power but when i use a oem motorola hnn9013d it does not shows the battery power any ideas of why it doesn't

This is only a speculation but it could be due to the 9013 being a LiOn battery. I'd have to mess with a few units here to be certain.

I tried the battery on another radio and it worked fine my radio has the latest firmware so i have no idea what the problem could be
