JT 1000

Post by code »

My Jt1000 was checked and everything is fine.. But when you transmit using the ptt button it puts out a (HUM) or possibly overmodulation on other radio I use to receive or talk on. But when you put the handmic on ,it works great no noise, clear as a bell. Is something wrong with the side pins on this radio? Why would a hand mic work and no the ptt? What can i do to fix this? Thanks

Fairly common problem among Jedi radios, do a search for HT1000 microphonics, sounds like thats likely what your issue is
