Can anyone advise the maximum number of Quik-Call two tone sequential tones that can be programmed into a CM200 or CM300? Is there a different capacity between these two radios?

I'm looking for a mobile radio than can decode 4 separate two-tone A-B sequences. There is no common A or common B tone between the 4 sequences.

The CDM1250 can do it by adding QCII systems.

Thanks Bill. Can multiple QCII systems be added to a single channel? In other words, can the radio sit on one channel and decode/unmute on any of the tone sequences in any system?

I need a receiver than will monitor and decode/unmute for one fire tone sequence, two EMS tone sequences, and one "all call" sequence (four total tone sets).

The CDM can do up to 3 separate QCII tone sets on one channel. I do not believe 4 is possible.

You say you need a reciever that can decode more than 3? Kenwood TKx180 mobiles can....

Create two identical personalities within the CDM. Same frequency settings, PLs, whatever you want.

Create a scan list with only these two channels.

Add three QC setups to the first, and the all-call to the fourth channel.
Scan these two channels, with the three sets of tones as the priority channel.

You should be all set to go...

I don't think that would work. An all-call would never decode. The radio would priority scan, jump to (and remain on) the channel programmed with the other three sets of tones. The all-call tone wouldn't match any of those three, so the radio would remain muted.

I've played with conventional scanning CDMs, and decoding multiple QC sequences, and what you are describing would probably decode less than 50% of the calls in total, and would probably miss ALL of the All-calls.
