I just purchased a PM1500 for the EMS service I work for. I need some info on the radio so i can submit the info i want programmed into the radio.
How many channels is the radio capable of?
How many groups is the radio capable of?
What selections do i have for the programmable option buttons?
does it have a programmable phone list like the MCS2000?

Not to sound brash or try to stir the pot here, but most of that information is available from the radio spec
sheet from Motorola. If you purchased something and did not know the abilities or limits of the radio,
shame on you.

With that said, the radio can do 255 channels.
8 alphanumeric character display
4 programmable buttons
15 channels in a scan list
Max number of zones will depend on how many channels you put in each zone.

The selections for the programmable buttons is long and I am not going to list them here. I normally put in
like the first button is zone, second is scan, third you might want as direct for repeater talk around and the
forth I put in power so I can go to low power for short range comms. But like I said there are all sorts of
selections you can make. It depends on what your needs are.
