Batboard

HI I have a astro spectra 1MEG brown unit with a rubber plug. 403.when i power it up it flashes self check fail 01/90 on the head. and i have lots of softwear for the astro spectra. when i go to read the radio it says ! communication with radio failed- PROTOCOL ENTRY ERROR. What VER. of softwear should I be useing for this radio? The radio is a L04QKH9PW9AN. I have some just spectra radios and i can program them ok with my cable with no prob:) or do I need diff programming cable? mines a MED LOW POWER CABLE. Any help or a list of what i need to do to get this astro going would be awsome .. thanks:) my email [email protected] Doug
