CDM1250 bandsplit 29.7-36MHZ question for ham

will a cdm1250 AAM25BKD9AA2AN 29.7-36 mhz radio go down into the 29.5 to 29.7 area for the FM repeaters without mod? and will the CPS allow this?

i searched for the model but nothing came up

If it's anything like it's portable counterpart (HT1250), which I assume it is, it's almost impossible to get it to go even the slightest out of band. The CPS definitely won't allow it without any hacking and I've yet to come across the info on how to do that if it even exists. The only success that I've even heard rumored about getting the Waris Series to go out of band involved dumping a codeplug from the same radio in a split that will cover the desired freqs but supposedly you're then stuck with that split (again all this is rumored, I haven't seen proof nor have I been able to find the "alleged" procedure) and I would imagine performance would be poor.

There's one set up, supposedly, to operate on 6 meters in the for sale section and from what I remember the standard split is 42 to 50MHz so someone must know how to do it.
