So I have a question...

Who here has successfully used a D43KMA7JA5BK for APRS? I want to interface it to a Kantronics KPC-3+ and a Mio GPS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

-Frank C.

Thanks. I was looking to see if anyone had a diagram to make a DB-15 to TNC cable for it.

I have done this with an A7 VHF spectra years ago. Its still playing. I'll have to look at the cable at work to see what I did
to make this play. Seems to me that I had to run a cable from the accessory jack to an constant audio source, so that I could turn the volume up and down at will (or at least that's what I'm thinking I've done.)
If you don't see a answer from me tomorrow, drop me a PM.

After digging information from repeater builder website. I found this:

Rear Acc connector DB15 (low and mid power model)
PIN08 = GND
PIN13 = PTT
PIN15 = MIC
PIN01 = Flat audio IN (Optional)
PIN11 = Flat audio out (Un squelh)

Since you need to use spectra as tracker to sent position out, only PIN 08, 13, 121, and 15 or 01 may need.

Don't forget to jump Ignition sense to +12V, I guess this is no need for Hi power model.

enjoy it.
