Where do I plug in the cable?

I suppose you could call me an old timer (as seen in your PC screen), however, I still don't get the senior discount at many places.
I loved the Mocom 70 radio. Super stable transmitter.
I suspect the newer players to this radio will certainly be lost without RSS.
And I still have the manuals for this radio!

I used to do warranty work on them. Was swapping out Motracs and putting in Mocom 70's. They were not bad radios.

That was the first radio type that I worked on when I began at Motorola. I guess at that time RSS would have stood for "Reliable Signals and Service".

Hey Bill, about that display, I'm still using a CE-6A which replaced my CE-3 a few years ago. With a meter module replacing the
CRT, the deviation can be checked pretty accurately.

The kid that took the picture was having some fun. We have a CE5 up in the attic that is probably older than he is. Ya got a let the young bucks get their digs in. A lil maintenance abuse never hurt anybody.

Nobody mentioned a 250 watt soldering GUN, with 60/40 rosin core solder for the long runs of wire in those beasts.
