Hi. I have a xts2500 uhf. The mic audio is low. I tried using a speaker mic but that did not help the issue. The speaker volume seems to be fine though with the radio. Is there a setting that needs to be changed or could this be something inside that needs repair? Any ideas? Thanks.

I am assuming that you checked the programming to make sure it was either wideband or narrowband for your application.

Have you done a complete alignment? Sometimes, used radios have been tweaked by the previous owner.

Radio wide, check your gain settings and AGC settings.

Panther's radio?

No it isn't a Panter radio. I reprogrammed the radio and somehow the issue went away or at least it isn't as bad as it was. I think it was set to 12.5 spacing or something like someone else was saying. Thanks for the ideas guys.
