Firmware: upgrade or not

If I am having a Astro3 programed to use for ham do I or should I have the firmware updated?

Are you planning to use this for P25 (IMBE) Digital operation?
If so, please post your host, dsp, and flashcode.
If you are planning to use it only for analog operation then there is probably little or no reason to bother with upgrading or tweaking any of the radios features.

You should be fine then... Don't worry about upgrading or changing anything unless for some reason the radio does not work.
