anyone have experience with these?
with a saber 3 inserted, i can change zones and unmute the squelch (monitor) but i can not:
1. unlock radio with password via hhch
2. change channels via hhch

should i be able to do these?

As for the password, I never used one. As for the channel select, I always did it from the selector knob on the radio in the sva. Change zones, yes,I wasn't aware you could change channels from the keypad at all, I thought the ch select was the only choice.

Set the radio up for 'channel only operation' (no zones) and you HAVE to use the keypad to change channels. Otherwise you can't.

so i guess i can't change channels on a saber 3 with the sva hhch then, thats what i figured.
