Hi guys, I am currently in the process of removing several mcs2000 radios Model 3 type, dual control head and replacing them with xtl-2500's. Anyways I am looking for the value, like if i were to sell on ebay what i should ask for one radio.

Price of MCS-2000 Model 3- Great condition, no problems, including everything microphone, cables(uncut) control heads speakers and so on

Price of MCS-2000 model 1- Great condition, same as above includes mic and possibly even antenna.

Price of Mt-500 Portable. Includes speaker mic Lowband 42-50 mhz, and possibly vehicle charger. In working condition. I know there isnt a need for these any longer but just throwing it out there incase i were to sell.

Post up the model numbers, ID numbers and the flashcodes and we can go from their. Or take some pics and take one of the radio lable for each radio.

What band do these MCS 2000's operate on? VHF, UHF 403-470 or 450-520, 800, or 900? That affects the prices. GARY N4KVE

Post them at no reserve with a $0.01 starting value and let market dynamics do the work. I routinely see model 3 dual-c/h MCS2000s go for $300 or more if they're VHF, UHF, or 800, and of course 110W means more $$$. 900.. not so much, couple hundred at most.

BUT. If you set a reserve or a starting bid at what you want to get, you're going to scare off buyers and will probably have to re-list a few times to get rid of it all. Ebay dynamics are weird.. start something off cheap and people will bid it up into the stratosphere, but start it off at market value and no one will touch it.

Your MT500s, unfortunately, are virtually worthless. You'd be lucky to pull enough in the sale to break even on shipping.

Hey guys they are UHF 403-470 mhz. for all of the mcs 2000 radios. I will get serial number/model number information as soon as I can.
