Simple question, I've been searching around, but I haven't found a concise answer to my question.

Plainly said - will the UHF VRS units (I'm probably referring to the VRS750, but chime in about other models if it changes the answer) work with high power VHF spectra units, or is it an astro-spectra only thing?

A newbie trying to learn.

The VRS750 and VRS-EP will only work with astro spectra/XTL mobiles.

Only the regular VRS will work with the spectra.. you can probably mod one of those Pyramid models easily as well.

The Pyramid vehicular repeaters are nice. If you have an Astro Spectra you can buy a "smart cable" from them. These require no physical modifications to the radio.
