I just got a jt1000 in the mail. I programmed in the required TX and RX info for a local repeater. However, I can't seem to get the channel out of direct/talk-around mode and into repeater mode. Is this not possible w/out the software? Just for the heck of it, I tried programming the same repeater info into another channel the last user had setup for repeater access and it works perfectly. I emailed the seller to ask what options/buttons/etc he had programmed to try to give me some insight. I will be out of town for a few days so I won't be near a pc to read the ht myself.

Did you check the programmed settings for the 3-position switch on the top? You'll have to read that with the RSS.
