my europe motorola mx2000 uhf(H44SAJ9509AN) give's a tone sequence after the selfcheck, in the rss this is called: power up alert.
i would like to have the same on my saberII vhf(H43QXJ7139CN, no secure module inside only a jumper wire), but i can't find anything like this in the saber software.
does the saber has a option like this or not?

I've explored just about every nook and cranny of the Saber RSS and I've never seen any option for a power up alert tone nor have I encountered a Saber that has had one.

If I remember right, my UHF Systems Saber III did a "self check beep" only if I happened to turn on the radio during RX traffic. Other than that it would just turn on with no beep.
Besides that one Systems Saber, I've owned about 4 regualer Sabers, and none of them had a self check beep.

It may be a European MX only thing as the RSS is a sumular but different package. I have a copy of the RSS manual here somewhere for MX I can look. I have been playing with sabers for years and know that its not in the latest release of 7.0.01 RSS unless its something in the 8d core and those radios are pretty rare

I believe all of my Securenet model 2 and 3's did that too but only if the channel they were parked on were active. Can't remeber if the 1E I had did that though...
