MTR2000 Power Plug

Post by WmHPowell »

Has anyone ever had an MTR2000 AC power plug back partially out of the radio?
Just ran into this - the IEC? plug had not fallen out of the radio; it was just backed out enough to no longer make contact.
Yes, the radio had the cord looped and tie wrapped back to the power supply but it apparently didn't place enough pressure to keep the connector in.
Suggestions?

IEC plug is the AC power plug.
They make a bracket to secure the IEC power plugs to the receptacle. These are made by the same company that makes the IEC power jacks.
